New Cancellation Policy - Effective October 1, 2023 *
After careful consideration and in response to rising industry standards, I will be implementing a pricing adjustment effective January 1, 2024.
I understand that any price increase can be a sensitive topic, and I want to address the reasons behind this decision:
Quality Assurance: My commitment to delivering exceptional services means investing in the best education, technology, and resources. The cost of supplies alone has gone up over 10% since 2021, and this price adjustment will help maintain and improve the service quality you expect.
Industry Alignment: I have closely monitored my industry partners, and many have already adjusted their pricing structures to keep pace with the evolving market. My aim is to remain competitive and ensure that you receive the best value for your investment. While prices may be higher, they are equal or less than many other salons in the Beverly Hills area.
Sustainability: Ensuring long-term sustainability will allow me to continue serving you effectively. This adjustment will enable me to continue investing in education, products and technology that will give you the best hair possible.

New Policies
Effective January 1, 2024
The cost of a standard blow dry will NOT be changing in 2024. However, any blow dries that take longer than the standard 45 min allotted, will incur an additional fee of $20 to accommodate for the extra time.
Color clients with regrowth of more than 3 months will be subject to higher rates, as it takes longer and uses more product. Pricing available upon consultation.
Hair that has not been colored for over one year may be subject to an hourly rate, depending on the type of transformation you’re looking for. Pricing available upon consultation.
Effective October 1, 2023
SAME DAY cancellations may be subject to a cancellation fee totaling 100% of the service cost (previously 50% of the service cost).
Hair By Shelby will be CLOSED on Mondays (unless otherwise noted). Tuesdays will be available by text request only.
